On September 29, 2004, SpaceShipOne will make it's first of two flights required to win the  Ansari X Prize.  A new era in space flight has begun.

For the first time in history, space flight has been taken out of the realm of huge government agencies and megalithic government contractors. Organizations such as Scaled Composites are proving that private and corporate space travel is no longer science fiction. Entire fields of industry and entertainment will soon explode onto the market -- Everything from zero-gravity extreme sports to space hotels to just same-day delivery to Tokyo.

As a fan of SpaceShipOne, I've devoted this little piece of the web to Burt Rutan's Tier One team. But more importantly, this site is dedicated to all of the teams competing for the Ansari X Prize, the privatization of space travel, and the unconquerable spirit of human exploration.
